Eligible Entrants

Entry is only open to South Australian residents who are within a 50km radius from the Adelaide GPO and are 18 years old and over. Entry is only open to owner-occupied residents; tenants of property are unable to enter as prizes are home improvements that must be awarded to owners of specific property. Entrants may be required to show proof of ownership of property before works can be undertaken.

How to Enter

To Enter the promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the promotional period: visit http://www.bigdifference.com.au and fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details ( first name, Last Name, email address, postcode, preferred style of verandah and mobile number) and also follow both Instagram and Facebook Pages of Big Difference Home Improvements.

Entries Permitted

Entrants may enter one time for each property they are an owner of, provided each entry is submitted separately in accordance with the entry requirements above. There is a limit of one (1) entry permitted per qualifying property * (the registered entrant MUST be displayed as an owner on the certificate of title, or must be a director, beneficiary or the like of a company that owns the said property). By Completing the entry requirements, the entrant will receive one (1) entry. For Clarity, entrants must fully fill out the online entry form every time they enter the promotion. More than one (1) prize permitted for SA residents.

Prize Description

Draw Details

On Monday 14th of July, Big Difference Home Improvements electronically draw 21 entrants to be selected for the next stages of the draw to win the Major and minor prizes listed above. Each of the drawn entrants will be contacted by phone and email, notifying them of their progression through to the next stages of the competition. All 21 entrants will be invited to attend the Big Difference Home Improvements West Lakes showroom Launch (3/26 Circuit Drive, Hendon SA) launch on Friday 25th July 2025 where all entrants will go into the major prize draw for the $20,000 verandah giveaway prize (major prize listed above). If the finalist or proxy is not at the event, a representative of the promoter will draw on their behalf. The draw will take place in the Showroom at 3/26 Circuit Drive, HENDON at 7.30pm on the 25th July, 2025. All remaining entrants on the evening who attend (and do not win the major prize) will win a $500.00 voucher which can be put towards the purchase of our Outdoor blinds or Verandahs.

Prize Conditions

All 21 entrants that progress to the major draw “Launch night” will be invited to attend in person or nominate a person over the age of 18 to attend on their behalf to be in the running of the $20,000 Major Prize.). If the finalist or proxy is not at the event, a representative of the promoter will draw on their behalf. The First entry drawn will win the 20k major prize and the remaining 20 entrants will win the minor prize, where they will receive a $500 voucher, which can be redeemed on the product once the entrant spends a minimum of $5,000 with Big Difference Home Improvements (this spend of $5,000 does not have to occur on the night) and the discount voucher is redeemable for a further twelve (12) months after the Launch date. Any further discount or credit given will be at the owners (Big Difference Home Improvements managing director) discretion during contract negotiations. Winner of the Major Prize $20,000 giveaway will be expected to take marketing and advertising footage of their verandah, before and afters. All footage/filing will be negotiated to be captured at a time suitable with the winner. The Major prize winner must not live further than a 50km radius of the GPO Adelaide 5000; if a winner does live further than a 50km radius from the GPO Adelaide, 5000, further travel costs may apply when redeeming the prize. Major prize of $20,000 verandah giveaway consists of products, labour appropriate fees for building applications all supplied through Big Difference Home Improvements ABN 34 627 581 471

Notification of Winners

Finalists will be notified by phone and email by Wednesday the 16th of July 2025. Draw winners will be notified in writing withing 7 days after the event night on Friday 25th July 2025.

Claiming Prizes

All winners have twelve (12) months from the draw date to claim the prize by responding to the email notification. Where a winner does not claim the prize within the twelve (12) months the prize will be forgone.

Publication of Winners

The Last name, First initial and postcode , of each winner will be published at 3/26 Circuit Drive Hendon SA and on http://www.bigdifference.com.au within 30 days of the draw date for a period of 30 days.

Unclaimed Prizes

All prizes must be claimed within two months of the draw date. If a prize is not claimed within this period despite reasonable efforts to contact the winner, the prize will be deemed unclaimed and the winner will forfeit any right to the prize. In such cases, the promoter will conduct a redraw using the original draw method on October 1st 2025. Alternatively, if approved by the Commissioner, the prize may be disposed of in an alternative appropriate manner. The last name, first initial and postcode of each winner will be published at http://www.bigdifference.com.au within 72 hours of redraw.

Cancellation

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the promotor, the promotor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or territory regulation.
